There is n't any particular hobby for me. I am intereseted in may things like Sports, Reading, Travelling, Music, TV, Swimming, Politics & Cinemas.
Upto 17 years of age, that is till my pre university I used to play either of Football, Valley Ball or Cricket every day. Occassionaly I used to play Batminton also. In our local clubs I used to play Chess & Carams. I am very much interested to watch (Of course there is no opportunity to play it in our village) tennis on TV. My favourite soccer players are Pele,Maradona and Bekenbower. Valley ball and football were the popular sports upto 1990 at our place. Due to tha large coverage of Cricket by TV Channels in the nineties popularity of these games became diminished and Cricket started getting popularity. Eventhough Cricket is very popular nowaday,s I consider it as an entertainment rather than a sports. Occassionally I play playing cards also.
Another area which I am too much interested is reading. I am interested in reading all types of books. But especially I read weeklies, magazines and news papers. I also read novels, technical books and books on philosophy. I am very much interested in reading hindu philosophies. In my child hood I was fond of reading stories and novels. Later my interest in reading changed to history and science fictions and news papers. Now I read philosophy, news papers,weeklies and magazines.
I am very fond of travelling and visiting tourist spots. I am very much interested in one day picnics.
Of course every one likes music, though I. I like Old melodies in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. My favourite singers are Yesu Das, Balasubrahmaniam, Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi. (Sorry I am out of English songs).
I like to watch TV. My favourite Channels are Star News, Discovery and MTV.
Kerala is a land of rivers. In kerala there 44 rivers and so many streams. Not only that there are a lot of country ponds and temple ponds. Almost 6 months in a year, these ponds are rich my fresh water due to the seasonal monsoon. Most of the people living in villages know swimming. I enjoy swimming and like to swim in the rain.
Each and every person in Kerala have his or her clear cut political ideology and are well politically polarized. As part of this society I am also interested in politics. My favourite leaders are Mahathma Gandhi and Com. A K Gopalan.
